About me: I am a Naturopathic Doctor and opened a practice in Qualicum Beach in January 2019. I am also a mother, a wife and a yogi. I have a strong connection to herbal medicine, meditation, spirituality and various forms of healing. Prior to becoming a naturopathic doctor I studied marine biology and worked on fishing boats and in remote fishing communities along the BC Coast. My work and study of the environment and marine life led me to realize that there is a big disconnection many people have from the natural world, which I saw also mirrored in their disconnection from their own bodies. Lynn Echevarria happily resides on Vancouver Island. Her heritage is from English, Scots and Basques peoples, and she has enjoyed living in England, Iceland, USA, and Canada.

Lynn is a mother of four and grandmother of seven, and her loves also include flowers, nature, Impressionist art, and explorations of the mind and heart. Her educational background is a PhD from Essex, U.K. in Sociology, and she is an Emeritus Professor of Yukon University. She has researched and taught women's studies, masculinities studies, and sociology over a 25 year period. Her greatest interest is in the life histories of people.

She has been invited to present papers on various subjects to academic institutions in Denmark, Sweden, England, Canada, and the United States. Her publications include articles, reviews, chapters in books, and her own book: Life Histories of Canadian Bahá'í Women: Religion and Identity in the 20th Century.

In 2016 Lynn put together a non-academic talk on the afterlife combining her long time personal interest in stories of near death experiences, the development of scientific quantum thought about consciousness, and perspectives from various world religions and spiritual perspectives. The talk is an hour long accompanied by power point visuals, and many NDE stories. Until March 2020 she travelled sharing the talk in person with many enthusiastic and diverse-aged audiences across Canada, England, and Scotland. She was delighted to meet many nder’s who shared their beautiful stories with her. 

The talk was made into a utube video and posted December 2019. A Facebook site with resources and references for the talk, and topics of interest, is listed at the end of the video. 

The talk makes meaning of what NDE stories can teach us about this life and the afterlife, and further expands our understandings by using the juxtaposition of scientific investigation and spiritual teachings. What we will learn is that the experience of the afterlife has everything to do with paying close attention to this life too.

Hi, my name is Ines Simpson and here’s a little Obligatory Bio about me.

Prior to Hypnosis, I worked in many fields from the hospitality industry to commercial fishing on Canada’s west coast.  In my 40’s, I started to reevaluate my life and to search for something that would fulfil me and hopefully give my life more meaning.  In the late 90s my mother took a hypnotherapy course (by mistake – she thought it was Psychic event – and I guess in a way it was! )  She told me about it and a light bulb went on!  And I reconnected to Hypnosis.

From then on I was committed. It seemed to be my thing.  Something I could truly commit to.

I avidly (fanatically) pursued a career in hypnosis and became a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists in 2000.  By 2005, I was admitted as a faculty member by the National Guild and continues to this day to teach as well as study to add to my knowledge of hypnosis. A field that is never static never finished   – there is always more to learn.

I am a Board-Certified hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest hypnosis body in the world. I was, in fact, the very first certified instructor for the NGH in western Canada.

I have my own business Advanced Hypnosis and Training Institute in  British Columbia.  Advanced Hypnosis offers individual services as well as Mentoring to Full Hypnosis Certification and Simpson Protocol training for hypnotists.

  I was inducted in 2012 to the NGH’s Order of Braid in recognition of service to professional hypnotism. Each hypnotist inducted to the Order of Braid have enriched the lives of others and have made a significant contribution to the hypnosis profession.

Also in 2012, I received the Hallmark Award- Top Rated Instructor by Student Evaluation Award from the NGH. And in 2014 became the first instructor of Jerry Kein’s  Omni Hypnosis program in Canada. (Jerry Kein was my Mentor and Hero as a Hypnotist- if you haven’t heard of him – look him up – really!)

I  also developed and created the Simpson Protocol, a method of Hypnosis that allows the Hypnotists to communicate with a Client even when in deep states of Hypnosis – such as Esdaile and even Sichort.  For the first time, the hypnotist can converse with the client’s deepest mind to learn what the true issues are and to direct it to do what is needed to achieve the best results possible.

Tim was born in Ladysmith but grew up in Nanaimo and is the youngest of 7.  His father Stephen played professional football for Hamilton, brother Greg played for the BC lions for 13 years, and 2 of Greg’s sons played Professionally for Regina, which is 3 generations playing in the CFL.  Tim also competed in sports, mostly as a Javelin thrower, which he loved, at the National level making it to lower level international class.  He also worked with the Paralympic movement coaching multiple world records and world records for Canada.  He coached weight lifting Provincially and Nationally as well.  His sister Kerry-Lynne is a member of Parliament for South Surrey/White Rock.   

Tim is a 3 time past Master of Ashlar Masonic Lodge in Nanaimo which celebrated their 150 years of service to the community in 2017. Metaphysically, Tim first discovered the other side with Astral Projection at the age of 14.  He had a visit by the old Hag and that sent him into his first sleep paralysis experience.  He discovered Remote Viewing in the Early 1990’s when the first books and interviews on disclosing the military development of the exercise began to surface. Tim also has lucid dreaming abilities and believe all 3 kind of go together and he has been using them ever since.  In the early 1990’s he discovered that he could Channel information and discuss various things with guides and angels from the other side.  These skills have allowed him to become an explorer of metaphysical domains.  If he’s curious about something then he mines the information field for greater insights in to the mystery, whether it be past, present, or future, on this planet or elsewhere.  This has also afforded him the experience of past life recall and he has memories of about 25, spanning back at least 60,000 years here on the Earth, including one as a Dolphin.  Before that it appears that he was from Antares, (which is a swampy place and we were an Amphibian species).

He’s given about 25 metaphysical lectures on the Island from Victoria to Courtenay, 6 or 7 with the Questers and one in Vancouver, on a fairly wide range of paranormal topics, and have certainly enjoyed doing so.  Everyone has abilities of one sort or another, and a lot of time they just need someone to give them permission to be themselves. With a little support and encouragement they can discover and develop their own talents.  Having Psi abilities has a lot to do with just showing people that it can be done (belief) and that they too with practice, can mine the information field.

In this upcoming session, Tim will talk about Mars, the secret space program, the off world colonies, and how we got to where we are in regards to all that.  If there is time, he will also share more about the Sasquatch story and some interesting new information around the US/secret military and their involvement with them.
